          using  kappa  statistic. Prevalence  of nutrient  inadequacy was calculated  separately  for both dietary
          methods.
          Results: The correlation coefficients corresponding to the nutrient values between HCES data and 24
          hour dietary data ranged from 0.3 to 0.4. The kappa statistic for the considered nutrients lied between 0.2
          and 0.3. Prevalence of nutrient inadequacy was underestimated from the household data for all nutrients.
          Conclusion: There is a good correlation between the nutrient values calculated using HCES and the
          values taken directly from 24 hour recall data. However, HCES cannot be considered an accurate method
          for individual nutrient dietary assessment.

           OS12: Mental health study among health workers during

           covid-19 pandemic.

          The  novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is  widely  affected    all over the  world.  The  World Health
          Organization has declared covid-19 as a public health Emergency of International concern by August
          24th, 2021. This outbreak currently puts health care workers at high risk of both physical and mental health
          problems. This study aims to assess the mental health of health workers during covid-19 pandemic. The
          study objectives were addressed using a descriptive cross-sectional online survey distributed to health
          workers in Kerala. The questionnaire prepared in google form for collecting data contains five parts.
          The first question is asked for informed consent to use the response in the survey. socio-demographic
          characteristics, general health questions, depression related questions, anxiety related questions and
          stress related questions were included. The data was entered and analyzed using spss software (IBM,
          SPSS statistics, version 24). The descriptive Statistics were used to analysis the mental health and bar
          charts are plotted. To understand the association between demographic variables and mental health chi
          square test is performed. This study found a significant prevalence of the studied mental health problems
          of perceived depression, anxiety, stress 41.8%, 52.2%, 73.1% respectively. Age, religion, no. of children,
          financial status, type of work, family members, covid status are strongly associated with their depression
          status. Out of 67 participants 52.2% of them had anxiety in which age, professional experience, living
          status, family members and covid status are associated with their anxiety status. 73.1% of them had
          stress and the stress status of them is positively associated with age, financial status, working time, type
          of work, monthly income, covid status and working hours. the assessment of overall mental health, out of
          the 67 participants, 25.4% of them had mild, 73.2% of them had severe and 2.5% of them had extremely
          severe mental health problems. The result of this study suggests that measures should be implemented
          to protect the mental well-being of health care workers during the covid-19 pandemic. The social support
          system plays an important role in protecting health care workers and reducing the prevalence of mental
          health problems.
