Concluding/Valedictory Session: On the 2nd Day of
the Mela, concluding session was held in which Swami
Atmapriyananda, Vice Chancellor, Ramkrishna Mission
Vivekanada Educational and Research Institute was
present as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present were
Sri Rajesh Kachhap, MLA, Khijri Assembly Constituency;
Sri Jatashankar Choudhury, Director, Jharkhand Higher
Secondary Education Board; Sri Jay Nigam, GM, NABARD;
Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission
Ashrama; Dr. Ajeet Singh, Programme Coordinator and
other scientists of Divyayan KVK.
Awards : Best Vivekananda Seva Sangh Award for the year
2019 was given to Barwatoli Vivekanada Seva Sangh of
Angara Block and Best Farmer’s Award was given to Smt.
Shanti Devi, Getalsud, Angara, Ranchi and Best Farmer
in Organic Farming Award was given to Shri Mahendra
Mahto, Kasitoli, Angara, Ranchi

Farmers’ Attraction : The Kisan Mela proved a major
source for transfer of latest and innovative technologies
to the farmers. Visit of live demonstration units, the stalls
and the Getalsud demonstration farm during farmer’s
fair provided an opportunity to the farmers to practically
see the technologies displayed in stalls and in field. They
had interaction with scientists concerned. Along with
Kisan Goshthis, Cultural Programmes too were organized
on each day of the fair which attracted large number of WELCOME, FELICITATION, CULTURAL
