To meet the above objectives stalls, models, live demonstrations, audio-visual shows, charts and posters
           display and Kisan Gosthis were organized during the Kisan Mela. All the events and shows were conducted
           in local/Hindi languages to get through the farmers.

           The Central Kisan Mela was inaugurated on 13th February, 2020 by the Chief Guest Swami Lokottarananda,
           secretary Ramkrishna Mission Ashram, Kumarpukur, W.B and Sri Sanjany Seth, Hon’ble MP, Ranchi in the
           gracious presence of Sri Sudesh Mahto, MLA, Silli and Sri Anjani Kumar Singh, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Zone-
           IV Patna. After the inauguration, all the guests visited Divyayan KVK’s and other agencies’ stalls. Around
           12000 farmers attended the two-day Mela.

           Crop and Animal Exhibition: To encourage and  increase the participation of the farmers’ and for horizontal
           dissemination of technology the farmers were given prior information to bring their own produce as
           exhibits to be awarded for the best ones. 500 crops and 24 animal exhibits like good quality vegetables,
           fruits, handcrafts, lac, and mushroom and good breeds of healthy animals were brought by the farmers in
           the Mela. 102 farmers were given prizes for their best exhibits

           Stalls: Altogether 26 stalls from various Research Institutes, ATMA, Ranchi, Seed Companies, agricultural
           implements companies, besides the stalls of Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ramakrishna Mission
           Vivekananda University and other departments of the Ashrama added hue to Kisan Mela.






































                                          CENTRAL FARMERS’ FAIR AT GETALSUD
           Kisan Goshthi: Kisan Goshthis were organized on
           each day of the Mela and discussion on different
           subjects of Farmers’ interest like lac cultivation, crop
           production, vegetable farming, organic cultivation,
           farm implements and dairy were held.

           Scientists from various Universities and Research
           Institutes  and  about  600  farmers  participated  in
           the above said Kisan Gosthis. Problems concerning
           different areas of agriculture and allied field raised by
           the farmers were directly addressed by the scientists
