Singh, State Co-ordinator (DBT), Jharkhand Region, Dept of Fertilizer, Govt. of India were the special guest
speakers on the occasion. Different topics like “Role of KVK in Doubling the Farmers’ Income”, “Climate
Resilient Agriculture for Maximization of Farmers’ Income”, “Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)” and “Fertilizer
Sales in Jharkhand”, “Speciality Fertilizer & Its Application in Agriculture” were covered with the thrust on
Maximization of Return & Doubling Farmers’ Income by 2022.
International Yoga Day Events
A series of events were organized on the occasion
of International Yoga Day on 21st June 2019. In the
morning a yoga session from 8:30 am to 10:00
was conducted which was participated with great
enthusiasm by the staff members and trainees of
Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra and the students
and professors of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda
Educational Institute. The chief guest of the event was
Secretary of this Ashrama. The session was carried
out under the guidance of Sri Pritam Banik, Yoga
Expert. Then the session was started with chanting
of Shantri Mantra and ended with the address by the
Chief Guest. In his address he explained the role and
importance of the Yoga in personal and professional
life and urged the participants to make it a habit.
In the second session a Block Level Yoga Competition
was held for the students of Akhandananda
Coaching Centres. In all 90 students participated in
the competition and 25 students were selected as
winners.
In afternoon session, in collaboration with Indira
Gandhi National Centre for the Arts(IGNCA), Regional
Centre, Ranchi a prize distribution ceremony was
held in which Sri R. S. Mohapatra, Director Personal,
Central Coalfield Limited, Ranchi was the Chief Guest
in gracious presence of other dignitaries like Sri Ajay
Kumar Mishra, Director(IGNCA), Regional Centre
Ranchi and Dr. Parinita Singh,Yoga Expert. During the
programme prize winners displayed their enchanting
Yoga Skill.
Constitution Day Observance
Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) was celebrated on 26 November 2019 at the conference hall of Divyayan
Krishi Vigyan Kendra to create awareness among the farmers about the fundamental duties which have
been imprinted in the Indian constitution. The programme was chaired by Swami Bhaveshanada, Secretary
of this Ashrama. The programme began with the brief description of the constitution, its foundation
and its preamble and reminiscences of the father of the constitution of India and first law minister of
the country Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedker. Dr. Ajeet Kumar Singh, Programme Coordinator, Divyayan Krishi
Vigyan Kendra, delivered a speech on the duties of the citizens towards the national development. He
reminded all (10) the fundamental duties as enshrined in the Constitution Part IV A. Further, a pledge on
the preamble of Indian constitution was taken by all the farmers and the staff members of the Divyayan
Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
