Dr. Ajeet Kumar Singh welcomed all the Anganwadi workers. In his welcome speech he gave information
           about women empowerment and history of celebrating International Women’s Day. While addressing he
           discussed about bio fortified products developed by Indian Council of Agricultural Research(ICAR). Sri
           Chandan Kumar, IFFCO provided information about bio fertilizer Sagarika (complete plant food) and the
           benefits of Sagrika. In this programme Health and Nutrition related information was given to women by
           the scientists of the KVK. Aganwadi workers were motivated to create Nutri garden around the house or
           in the farm. Four bottles of bio fertilizer; one Mango and one Guava plants were distributed among the
           Anganwadi workers.
           National Nutrition Week 2019 Programme

                                                            National Nutrition Week was observed from 01
                                                            September to 07 September 2019 by Divyayan KVK
                                                            with an objective to create awareness about the
                                                            cause of malnutrition among the people. It has been
                                                            felt that malnutrition is not only due to unavailability
                                                            of food but also due to not taking food in a proper
                                                            manner. The awareness programmes were carried out
                                                            in different villages, institutes and organizations such
                                                            as Bundu Village of Ormanjhi Block; BRC Anagara;
                                                            Balashraya, Hehal, ITI campus Ranchi;Kasturba
                                                            Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Kanke;Mahila Samakhya
                                                            Nari Niketan, Kanke, Ranchi, RKMVERI, Morabadi etc.
           At each and every venue a good number of people attended the programme.
           International Day of  the World’s Indigenous Peoples

            On the occasion of silver jubilee of International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples a programme
           was organized on 9th August 2019 with the joint collaboration of Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra, RKM,
           Morabadi Ranchi, IFFCO, Ranchi & Agriculture, Rural & Tribal Development Department of Ramakrishana
           Mission Vivekanada Educational & Research Institute(RKMVERI). The programme was conducted in two
           sessions. In the first session 1250 neem plants were planted in 5 villages in the Ranchi District of namely
           Obar, Badkigorang, Nawagarh, Soso, Barwatoli in collaboration with IFFCO.

           In the second session, a cultural programme was organized in the auditorium of Ramakrishna mission
           Ashrama, Morabadi, Ranchi. with the cooperation of ARTD, Department of RKMVERI and Divyayan Krishi
           Vigyan Kendra. The students of ARTD Department of RKMVERI   and the trainees of Divyayan KVK
           presented cultural programmes based on tribal culture including folk lore, folk dance, folk songs etc. with
           colourful dresses of tribal India. Programme was chaired by Swami Bhaveshananda Maharaj, Secretary
           Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi Ranchi. Smt. Aruna Tirki, Founder of AJAM EMBA and Shri Ram
           Tahal Nayak, National President of All India SC & ST Committee were the special guests of the programme.
           Around 200 students and 140 male and female trainees participated in the programme.

           Workshop on “Doubling the Farmers’ Income- Challenges and Strategies”

           A workshop on “Doubling the Farmers’ Income-
           Challenges and Strategies” was organized on 22nd
           August 2019 with the joint collaboration of Divyayan
           Krishi Vigyan Kendra & Fertilizer Association of India-
           Eastern Region. The aim of the workshop is to discuss
           various issues and challenges towards doubling the
           farmers’ income.Around 60 members including
           State Govt. and Central Govt. representatives, stake
           holders, progressive farmers, scientists were present
           in the workshop. Dr. Subhash Singh, Director SAMETI,
