MESSAGE

It is our pride moment, and we consider it an honour to have been hosting the 39th
Annual National Conference of Indian Society of Medical Statistics (ISMSCON-2021)is
being organized by PSM Department,RIMS, Ranchi from 9th to 11thDecember 2021and
it is being operated in virtual mode. The theme of ISMSCON- 2021 is “Application
of Biostatistical Techniques for Summarizing Evidence; Systematic Review and
Meta-Analysis”. We are happy to inform you about the Pre-conference Workshop to
be held on 8th of December 2021 as part of the ISMSCON 2021.
I believe that the attendees shall have an enriching experience listening to speakers
who are experts in the field of medical statistics, medicine, and public health and through
their learnings from the conference, they will be able to make better decisions with
regards to health promotion by integrating the best available evidence with practitioner
expertise and other resources.
I would especially like to thank Indian Society for Medical Statistics for giving us the
opportunity to host this conference. I would like to extend a very warm welcome to the
guest speakers and to thank them for their invaluable contribution to this conference. I
would also like to congratulate the organizers and my colleagues for their untiring work
in this regard.
