MESSAGE

It gives me immense pleasure to learn that the Department of
Preventive and Social Medicine (PSM). RIMS. Ranchi is organizing the
39th annual conference of Indian Society for Medical Statistics (ISMS) from
9th to 11th December. 2021 at RIMS. Ranchi. This conference will offer an
opportunity to discuss recent developments in Medical statistics focusing on
the theme “Application of Biostatistical Techniques for Summarizing
Evidence; Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis”.
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to our guest speakers
and to thank them for their invaluable contribution to this conference. I would
also like to congratulate the Organizers of this conference on their initiative
and their ongoing efforts to improve the level of knowledge and the quality of
services.

The Department of PSM Is one of the most vibrant department of
RIMS and has been actively contributing to the needs and demand of the
society and state at large In fostering academic research and developments.
Hopefully the delegates will be immensely benefited with the vision of
this conference. I convey my best wishes to all the participants/Delegates of
